The scope of work includes the detailed design and construction of the Dhamdum Bridge, a 170-meter-long RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) wide beam slab bridge. This bridge features two lanes with a carriageway width of 7 meters and 1.5-meter pedestrian footpaths on each side. It is one of two critical bridges that connect Samtse Dzongkhag headquarters with nine of its fifteen gewogs. Remarkably, the project was completed approximately six months ahead of schedule, a notable achievement, especially given the challenges faced in the post-COVID-19 period.
