About Us

Rigsar Construction Private Limited (RCPL) is a Bhutanese-owned construction company with almost of three decades of experience delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Bhutan. Since our inception, we have consistently focused on building a reputation grounded in reliability, technical excellence, and timely project execution.

Incorporated under the Companies Act of Bhutan in 2012, RCPL began its journey as a sole proprietorship and has since evolved into a fully integrated construction firm. Our work spans a broad spectrum of public infrastructure, including highways, bridges, buildings, sewerage systems, river protection works, and dredging. In recent years, we have expanded our services into renewable energy development ,particularly hydroelectric plant construction and solar panel installation ,reflecting our commitment to supporting Bhutan’s sustainable development goals.

What sets us apart is our vertical integration. We operate our own quarry and produce construction materials such as stone aggregates and ready-mix concrete, ensuring full control over quality and supply. Backed by a team of experienced mechanical and civil professionals and equipped with advanced construction machinery, RCPL is capable of delivering complex engineering projects with precision and efficiency.

We are proud to share that as of February 2024, RCPL became ISO certified in the following international standards:

  • ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems
  • ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
