A Pioneering Achievement in Bhutan: The Sephu Solar Power Project is the first of its kind in the country — a groundbreaking endeavor entirely conceptualized, developed, and executed by Bhutanese professionals. Following the project’s successful completion and adherence to quality standards, the Government of Bhutan has approved an expansion of an additional 5 MW, raising the total installed capacity to 22.38 MW at the same location.
The contract for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction was awarded to M/s Rigsar – PES JV in July 2023.
